Centrifuze Audio Samples

5 - Other Effects

< previous

This page has a variety of samples that demonstrate different variations on the preset effects achieved by changing one or more controls, as well as effects achieved by chaining two or more RTAS instances of Centrifuze on a track, each with its own settings.

Here's a sample showing use of the feedback polarity switch to change the character of a flange effect:

Wave flange with the polarity switched to (+), a slow frequency (0.15 Hz) and slight straight delay (0.5 msec) for a more "phaser-like" sound.

Here's the Flan Jello effect, but with the fast and slow LFOs switched between amp and delay mod:

Flan Jello with LFO-1 and LFO-1B reversed, 4:1 frequency ratio, sine wave delay mod and 50% square wave amp mod.

Below are a few examples of chaining two or more Centrifuze RTAS instances on a single track in real-time, with the output of one instance feeding into the input of the next. Keep in mind that these recordings were made on a single pass against the recorded material.

Infinite echo for first instance on the track and amplitude envelope flange for second instance.

Infinite echo for first instance and amplitude envelope flange for second instance, but with the feedback Polarity switch set to "+" on the flange.

Three chained Centrifuze instances on one track running in real-time: wave flange to infinite echo to amplitude envelope flange, giving a spacey psychedaelic sound. This has two stages of flange, with an infinite echo sandwiched between that creates its own cyclical envelope that drives the final envelope flange instance. A tasty combination that's one of our favorites!
